Where clinical rehabilitation meets mind-body healing
I believe that a grounded body is the foundation for a vibrant life. But in a world that often feels "too much," it’s easy to lose our footing. We carry our stories in our muscles and our stress in our nervous systems.
Hi, I am Molly Willson, and I created Body on Earth Wellness to be a safe container for those who want a more effective, sustainable, and pleasant healing experience. At Body on Earth Wellness, you don’t have to choose between clinical results and emotional restoration. You receive a holistic approach to health and healing to help you return to yourself.
As a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist (OTR/L), I look at healing through a functional lens. My background in anatomy, neurology, and sensory processing means that every session is rooted in a deep understanding of how the human body works and how your daily habits, roles, and routines can influence the state of your body.
By looking at the ‘whole person,’ I can help identify areas of dysfunction and work with you to bring back balance into the body so you can experience true, lasting function and form.
What is Occupational Therapy?
In clinical terms, Occupational Therapy (OT) is the science of improving function and performance in your daily occupations.
But what does that mean for you?
In this space, "occupations" aren't just jobs… they are the meaningful activities that ‘occupy’ your life. It’s the way you hold your child, the way you sit at your desk, how you breathe through a stressful morning, and how you find rest at night.
The OT Lens:
Function: We look at the "how" of your body. Are you moving with efficiency, or is chronic tension hijacking your form and causing more dysfunction.
Engagement: We move past just "getting through the day." We work to help you feel present and connected to your body, rather than distracted by pain or sensory overwhelm.
Performance: This is your ability to "do" life with mastery and grace. Whether it’s a creative hobby or a demanding career, I help you fine-tune your nervous system, create a nurturing environment, and promote physical alignment so you can show up fully and safely.
At Body on Earth Wellness, my OT expertise ensures that your healing isn't temporary…. it’s a grounded, medical-grade strategy to help you engage and enjoy in the activities that make your life meaningful.
The Rooted System
The Body on Earth Wellness Philosophy
My work centers on “The Rooted System,” which is the philosophy that a balanced and grounded body has the inherent capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. By weaving together clinical science and intuitive ancient healing principles, we address the body from three essential angles: therapeutic movement, integrative bodywork, and energy healing.
Movement is medicine. Using my clinical background in Occupational Therapy, we look at the architecture of your body. We identify compensatory patterns and use intentional, corrective movement to restore your structural integrity. This is where we rebuild your physical foundation so you can move through the world with ease and mastery.
Therapeutic Movement
For the sensitive body, traditional massage can sometimes be overwhelming. My approach to bodywork is integrative and sensory-aware. I use specialized manual therapy to release chronic tension and down-regulate a high-alert nervous system. This is creating a sensory experience in the body to active the happy and healing state.
Integrative Bodywork
We are more than just bone and muscle; we are energetic beings. This aspect addresses the subtle layers of stress and emotional weight that physical exercise alone cannot reach. Through grounded energy work, we clear stagnant blocks and invite a sense of profound internal balance, helping you leave the studio feeling lighter and more aligned.

When there is dysfunction in one area of the body, it may manifest as something completely different. Your shoulder pain my actually be from stress you carry or unprocessed grief. It is my mission to help you identify the root cause of dysfunction and then create the conditions for the body to heal.
At Body on Earth Wellness, your body will sense safety, have space, and receive the kind of skilled, intentional touch and guidance that tells your nervous system it's okay to release, feel, and heal.
When that happens, people don't just feel better. They naturally start taking better care of themselves. And I believe creating a caring and safe environment is key to heal, restore, and recover. Come visit me and let’s work together to get you moving in the right direction.
What I believe
How I ended up here
For over a decade, I worked as an occupational therapist, helping people regain independence, restore balance, and find new ways to thrive. While I loved the nurturing and caring work, I was left feeling burned out, exhausted, and depleted.
And I realized that it wasn’t just the constant productivity that was draining me, it was stressful environment that provokes threat, danger, and urgency in my body. I developed my own health issues and suffered with insomnia, depression, anxiety, muscle soreness, digestive issues, and hormonal problems.
In hopes of regaining my health and vitality, I turned to alternative practices and integrative medicine. I began to practice yoga and meditation more seriously as a way to keep my body strong. I studied nutrition to understand what my body was missing and not digesting.
And I continued down the learning path towards Eastern philosophies and ways of life, including Ayurveda, Taoism, Qi gong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Buddhism. All of which brought in the balance, strength, clarity, and wisdom that conventional living and highly dysregulated environments sucked out of me.
Now, I bring together the practical care of my OT background with holistic healing modalities to guide people towards alignment, energy, and ease. My promise is to meet people where they are and offer them the support to get them to where they want to be.
In addition to my private practice, I am a teacher at Soul Healing Collective in Ballard. I teach an energy healing and Reiki class as well as yoga and movement classes. You can learn more and sign up for a class on the Soul Healing Collective’s website.
